A little about Leanne
When I opened Barks and Bubbles, I decided it was time for a new chapter—one that let me do something I truly love while spending more time with my family and dogs. That meant Annie and Nancy, and this year (2026) our family grew with the addition of our puppy Barney would have someone home each day.
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My mum rescued two dogs in Spain when I was growing up, and my own rescue dog, Nancy, needed alot of help and love. Helping her recover only deepened my love for giving dogs the patience, care, and kindness they deserve.
Since training as a dog groomer, I’ve found a real passion for grooming. There’s nothing better than seeing a dog leave happy, comfortable, and looking their best. I love giving every dog the pampering they deserve.
I do often joke that dogs are better than people, and if a dog doesn’t trust someone, there’s usually a good reason!
The face of Barks & Bubbles is my beautiful late dog, Bella. She was a huge part of our family. We lost her to cancer in 2023, and I miss her every day. Having Bella as the logo is my way of honouring her memory and keeping her at the heart of everything I do.
We had a slight delay in opening the new salon as sadly Annie My French Bulldog Passed away. She will also be Making appearances in the Barks and Bubbles brand logos!
Your dog’s welfare will always come first. Every dog is unique, so I take the time to make each visit calm, comfortable, and as stress-free as possible, this is why my 1:1 appointments are very important to me. My salon is a safe, caring space where your dog will always be treated like one of my own. This is also why i send a form to be filled in before the appointment- I like to get to know a little about your pet before they arrive.
I genuinely love what I do and I hope you’ll trust me to care for and groom your dog with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own.
I’m happiest when noses are wet, cuddles are warm, and tails are wagging.
Because every dog deserves to shine.
